Roomli ("App", "we", "us") helps users manage shared household tasks, shopping, bills, and expenses. This policy explains what data may be processed, how it is used, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
a) Account and Profile Data
- Email address and account identifier
- Optional display name/profile metadata
b) Household and App Content Data
- Household memberships and invite codes
- Tasks, shopping items, bills, expenses, and related timestamps/statuses
- Optional notes or descriptions entered by users
c) Purchase and Subscription Data
- Purchase status, entitlement status, and product metadata for premium features
- Purchase-related identifiers/timestamps (processed through platform billing and RevenueCat)
d) Ads, Analytics, and Diagnostics
- Ad-related identifiers and ad interaction signals (when ads are enabled)
- App interaction events and usage analytics
- Crash logs and technical diagnostics
- Approximate location inferred from network signals (for ad/analytics processing)
2. How We Use Data
- To create and secure user accounts
- To provide core household organization functionality and sync
- To process premium purchases and restore entitlements
- To deliver and measure ads (for non-premium users)
- To monitor app performance, prevent abuse, and fix issues
- To comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services
Roomli may use the following services, depending on platform and enabled features:

4. Data Sharing and Sale
We do not sell personal information for money. We may share data with service providers strictly to operate Roomli features, process purchases, provide ads (if enabled), and run analytics/diagnostics.
5. Data Retention
- Account and household data is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide the service.
- Crash/analytics and ad-related logs may be retained by providers under their retention policies.
- Certain records may be retained where required for legal, security, or fraud prevention reasons.
6. Account and Data Deletion
You can request permanent account deletion inside the app and outside the app via our deletion page:

When deletion is requested and verified, data associated with the account is deleted from systems we directly control, except where retention is legally required.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network transport where applicable. No system is 100% secure.
8. Children
Roomli is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address the request.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when app features or legal requirements change. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
